Darrell James Kaestner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2021, at the age of 87, Darrell James Kaestner of Vinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kaestner and Bernice Kaestner (Duncalf); his siblings, Monica and Grant; and his son-in-law Tim Mehlert.
He is survived by: his wife Clarice Ireland; his children, Newhall, Paula Hagenow (John), Pam Andrews, Jamie Anderson (Jim) and Jon Kaestner (Ginger); his grandchildren, Barry, Justin, Becky, Jacob, Jay, Chad, Allan, Luke, Amy, Heidi, Samuel, Joel and Abbie; and his sisters, Marge Grovert and Ann Roberson (Jack). He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Darrell may be made directly to St. John Lutheran Church, Newhall, or St. Croix Hospice.
