He is survived by: his daughter Liz Henkel; and his siblings, Mary McInroy (Drew), Vicki Streeter (Craig), John Fowler (Betty), Nancy Kampman, Pete Fowler (Danelle) and Bob Fowler (Theresa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the G. Luckey Amercian Legion Post #57 (105 N R Ave, Vinton, IA 52349). The military honors was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:10 PM at the same location.
