He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Pettit and Emma Pettit (Gipper); and his grandson Chad. He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Henkel; his children, Tiffiny (Randy) of Vinton, Shannon (Tracy) of Cedar Rapids and Gregory (Melissa) of Urbana; and his siblings, Doyle, Kevin, Sandra and Diane. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
