He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Swanson and Evelyn Werning Swanson; and his wife Lorena Means Ludden. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jim Ludden (Jodene) of Brandon, Melva Marovec (George Hand) of Vinton and Mary Jo Guider (Bill) of Vinton; and his daughter Susan Dunkel (Scott) of Newhall. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
