She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Barnard and Flora Barnard (Tharp); her son Johnny Pyle; her grandson Timothy Walter Fennern; and her siblings, Orval Barnard, Roger Barnard, Rose Pavek and Patricia Daugherty.
She is survived by: her husband Deane Fennern of Vinton; her children, James Fennern Sr. (Victoria) of Cedar Rapids and Dawn Beyer (Ken) of Epworth; and her grandchildren, James Fennern Jr., Anne Nicholson, Erica Collins (Timothy), Shelby Beyer and Shaun Beyer. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and many special nieces, and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
