She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur James Langstraat; her siblings, Margaret Morrow, Elsie Fowler, Juanita Etter, Everett, Bernie, Dick and Donald Sterrett; her granddaughter Julia Langstraat; and her parents, Earl Sterrett and Hilda Sterrett (Koch).
She is survived by: her son Lyle Langstraat (Luanne) of Vinton; her grandchildren, Brian Langstraat (Megan), Douglas Langstraat (Sabrina) and Katrina Langstraat; her great grandchildren, Hendrik and Eliza Langstraat; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanette Sterrett and Anna Mae Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
