With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice E. (Wiskus) Jones of Vinton, Iowa, born in Tipton, Iowa, who passed away on September 20, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wiskus and Eunice Wiskus (Wagner); her husband Rod; and her brothers, Paul and Larry Wiskus.
She is survived by: her former husband Rodney Jones; her children, Sue Birker (Ken) of Vinton, Greg Jones (Deb) of Rockwell, Barb Marter (Terry) of Vinton and Maury Jones (Leann) of Marion; her grandchildren, Scott Birker (Jenni), Matt Birker, Jeff Birker (Leah), Brent Jones, Brad Jones, Bryon Jones (Elicia), Beth Cox (Todd), Eric Marter (Lisa), Mike Wyckoff (Jyl) and Sarah Stovall (Craig); her siblings, Pat Husman (Harold) of Marion, Terry Jefferson (Jim) of Sparta, WI and Wes Wiskus (Janet) of Naples, FL; and her sister-in-law Sandy Paulsen of Clear Lake. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
