She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Higgins and Luella Higgins (Brannon); her former husband Bernard "Ed" Zimpfer; her daughter Beth; her sister Joan Flacher (Kay); and her sister-in-law Connie Higgins.
She is survived by: her sons, Rick Zimpfer (Yvonne) of Vinton and Dennis Zimpfer (Sherry) of Iowa Falls; her grandchildren, Zachary Zimpfer (Brittany) and Ashley Zimpfer; and her siblings, Ann Clausen (Neal), Gordon, David and Bob Higgins (Sharon).
