He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bazal and Lillian Bazal (Nekola); and his brother Gary Bazal. He is survived by: his wife Lovona Bazal (Joyce) of Vining; his children, Jennifer Armstrong (John) of Shellsburg, Stacy Bazal (Kelly) of Wilton, April Farley of Chelsea and Megan Rinderknecht (Bob) of Atkins; his grandchildren, Natalie, Noah, Abren, Charlie, Talia, Tabitha, Bailey, Griffen, Madison, Gaven, Payton, Abby and Wyatt; his great grandchild Avery; and his siblings, Lonnie Bazal (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids, Rick Bazal (Pat) of Newton, Judy Sawyer (Tom) of Montour, Janice Bazal of Vining, Daryl Bazal (Barb) of Vining and Arlene Bazal of Cedar Rapids.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
