He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Cummins and Mary Cummins (Edwards); his parents-in-law, Kenneth and Phyllis Sandstrom; and his grandson Kyle Cummins-High.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sandstrom; his sons, Troy Cummins (Leshia) of Owatonna, Thad Cummins (Jennifer) of Vincent and Travis Cummins (Stephanie) of Joyce, Iowa; his brothers, Don Cummins of Fort Dodge and Harold Cummins (Ginger) of Otho; his half-sister Diane Strunk Long; and his aunt Vicky Rockafellow.
