We bid farewell to Ronald James Croxell of Villisca, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Ronald James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Croxell and Frieda Croxell (Lill); his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Mildred Lary; his brothers, Dick and Tom Croxell; his son-in-law George Karwal; his nephew David Croxell; his niece Theresa Bunch; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Lary, Bruce Brown, Frank Cernik, Delores Brown and Linda Lary.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Croxell; his children, Brian Croxell (Pamela Anderson), Michael Croxell (Kelly) and Patricia Karwal; his grandchildren, Kirby Karwal (Alyssa), Kaci Croxell (Tyler Christensen) and Tyler Croxell (Toni Elliott); and his great grandchildren, Vivian Karwal, Evan Croxell, Oliver Christensen and Ellie Boulter. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Griswold Community Building (603 2nd St, Griswold, IA 51535).
