With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Merryweather (Villisca, Iowa), born in Dunlap, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeno Lapke and Louis Lapke (Chambers); her husband Burt Merryweather; her daughter Marilyn Riecken; her brother Kenneth Lapke; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Lapke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Callahan (Steve) of Cedar Bluffs, NE, Lisa Carey (Steve) of Wahoo, NE and Gina Guerrero (John) of Louisville, KY; her siblings, Ed Lapke of Dunlap, IA, Bernard Lapke (Joanne) of Dunlap, IA, Jerry Lapke (Joanne) of Omaha, NE, Claurice Buman (Don) of Harlan, IA, Kathy Doran (Jim) of Garland, TX, Karole Anastasi (Bob) of Des Moines, IA, Marilyn Husak (Pete) of North Liberty, IA and Lorraine Neppl (Vern) of Utah; and her sister-in-law Jenene Lapke of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St Mary's Catholic Church in Cedar Bluffs or Replant Woodcliff.
