He is survived by: his children, Marty Mason (Glenn) of Shenandoah, Joe Kernen (Lisa) of Nodaway and Danny Kernen (Maria) of Denver, CO.; his grandchildren, Corrie Bangston McHale (Tom) of Minneapolis, Kaley Bangston Brown (Travis) of Chicago, Kyle Bangston (Katie) of St. Louis Park, MN and Quentin Bangston of Portland, OR.; his great grandchildren, Bennett, Sadie, Vivienne, Owen, Aidan McHale, Brayden, Shyla, Korbyn, Aubrey Talada and Wilder Brown; his sisters-in-law, Ethel Herring, Mary McElroy, Kathleen McElroy and Patricia Knock; and his friend Junior. He is also survived by his children or grandchildren.
