He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Nordby and Judith Nordby (Welch); his brother Roger Nordby; and his mothers-in-law, Veda and Iris Resler.
He is survived by: his wife Merlene Nordby of Red Oak, IA; his children, Mark Nordby of Bloomington, MN, Susan Diersen of Rush City, MN and Jamie Nordby of Tualatin, OR; and his siblings, Betty Olson of Sacramento, CA and Jerry Nordby of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
