We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2018, at the age of 84, Gordon Thomas (Villisca, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Thomas and Flossie Thomas (Jones); his daughter Leslie Ann Sunderman; his siblings, Victor Thomas (Marilee) and Joyce Thorson (Jack); and his siblings-in-law, Ray Glassinger, Wilbur Williams, Richard Brown, Robert Brown and Jackie Yeager.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Thomas of Villisca, IA; his children, Gregory Thomas (Tricha) of York, PA and Suzanne Hoover (Jeff) of Adair, IA; his son-in-law Dwight Sunderman of Carbon, IA; his grandchildren, Daniel Thomas of Harrisburg, PA, Ryan Thomas (Jess) of York, PA, Layla Houser (Jim) of Merriam, KS, Derrick Sunderman (Jordon) of Tripoli, IA, Jason Compton of Colorado and Kristyna Compton of Shawnee, KS; his great grandchildren, Lyla, Quinn, Emmitt, Owen Thomas, Emylee Houser, Granger Von Houser, Alivia, Aiden, Kamden and Keira Sunderman; his sisters, Lorraine Williams of Grant, IA and Joanne Glassinger of Red Oak, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Brown (Liz) of Tampa, FL, Keith Yeager of Stanton, IA and Paula Ridenour (Jerry) of Plano, TX. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
