It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Salway of Villisca, Iowa, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Baker and Jessie Baker (Fail); her husband Lemoyne "Bud" Salway; her siblings, Albert Baker, Willis Baker, Dorothy Hamner (Max), Sharon Farlin (Leo) and Donald Baker; and her son Jeff Salway.
She is survived by: her daughter Shala Scott (Roy) of Villisca, IA; her daughter-in-law Ginger Salway of Villisca, IA; her grandchildren, Natasha Salway (Doug Cooper) of Villisca, IA, Jessica Calhoon (Jeff) of Clarinda, IA, Nicholas Scott of Ankeny, IA and Dawson Salway of Clarinda, IA; and her great grandchildren, Donavyn Calhoon of Maryville, MO, Adrien Salway of Maryville, MO, Landen Salway of Clarinda, IA and Treyten Calhoon of Clarinda, IA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
The family requests memorials be directed to the Villisca Fire Department and Azria Health Care in Clarinda, Iowa.
