We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2023, at the age of 95, Darlene Marie Sand of Villisca, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford "Bill" Ellsworth Hoschar and Pearl Edith Hoschar (Addleman); her husband Raymond Sand; her siblings, Richard Hoschar, Ida Mae Bickett, Alice Rawson, Mel Hoschar, Joe Hoschar, John Hoschar and Marjorie Haley; her daughter-in-law Betty Sand; and her grandson Christopher "Chris" Sand.
She is survived by: her sons, Leo "Butch" Sand of Plattsmouth, NE and James "Jim" Sand (Nancy) of Athens, OH; her granddaughters, Rachel Frazier (Brad), Anne Sand and Sara Sand; her great grandchild Alesha Johnson; and her brother Bill Hoschar of Bellevue, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
