We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 97, Verabeth Bricker of Victor, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Leroy Eckert and Sarah Ellen Eckert (Humphrey); her husband Dean Bricker; her son Kris Bricker; and her siblings, Darlene Eckert Sayers and Edwin Eckert.
She is survived by: her son Terry Bricker (Sandy) of Grand Island, NE; her grandchildren, John Bricker (Aundrea) and Jackie Niedfelt (John); her son Larry Bricker (Toni) of Marion, IA; her grandchildren, Tonya Bricker, Dustin Bricker (Beth) and Gretchen Lewis (Adam); her children, David Bricker of Brooklyn, Denise Bricker of Victor and Kurt Bricker (Deb) of Ladora; her grandchildren, Marshall Bricker (Erika Worley) and Holly Dahlstrom (Andreas); and her great grandchildren, Jonah, Isabella, Noah Bricker, Reagan, Avery, Kennedy Lewis, Joshua, Lauren, Ella Bricker, Emily Koch (Zack), Brandon Erkamaa, Jacob, Jeremy and Justin Niedfelt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Victor (808 4th St, Victor, IA 52347). Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church (104 3rd St, Victor, IA 52347).
Memorials may be designated to St. Bridget Catholic Church, St. Luke's Foundation (hospice), or to Compass Memorial Hospital in Marengo, and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.
