With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Barker of Victor, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest "Hill" Barker and Mary Lena Barker (Weisskopf); and his brother William Barker. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Schinckel; his children, Vicki York (Brian), Brian Barker (Whitney), Janet Kozik (Garrett), Troy Barker (Megan) and Brad Barker (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Grace York (Garret Bennink), Kayla York, Kora Barker and Amelia Barker; his brother Jim Barker; and his nieces, Julie Jaffe and Michelle Westerland.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home - Victor (808 4th St, Victor, IA 52347). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bridget Catholic Church (104 3rd St, Victor, IA 52347). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Victor Memorial Cemetery (200 7th St, Victor, IA 52347).
