He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Chester and Blanche Gensley (Sheda); his wife Beverly "Jean" Michalek; his grandson Jason Lee Weisskopf; his great grandchild Colton William Jones; and his siblings, Larry Gensley and Shirley Bazyn-Noyes.

He is survived by : his children, Amy Huedepohl (Steve), Victor, Angie Faas (Bill West), Chris Sieberg (Larry) of North Mankato, MN, Sue Gorsh (Tim), Maria Hawkins (Kevin), Ladora, Chuck Gensley (Carolyn), Juanita Bader (Nimer), Paul Gensley (Linda), Janet King (David) and Jodi Gensley (Kristine Denicourt) of Silver Spring, MD; and his sisters-in-law, Barb Gensley, Donna Birdzell, Mary Graff and Kay Reynolds (Bruce). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Victor American Legion, Victor Fire Department, Essence of Life Hospice in Amana, or St. Bridget Catholic Church.
