He was predeceased by: his daughter Connie Scandridge; his siblings, Harold, Raymond, William "Bill" Jahlas, Mildred and Marie Trimpe; and his grandsons, Joshua and Kyle.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Craig, Justin, Shawn, Nathan, Dawson Jahlas and Paul Scandridge; his wife Earlene Elizabeth Heitman of Highland Ridge; his children, Vickie Roberts (Bill) of Victor, Kevin Jahlas (LuAnn) of Brooklyn, Kim Jahlas (Chris) of Victor, Rick Jahlas (Renee) of Belle Plaine and Brad Jahlas (Connie) of Victor; his son-in-law Dan Scandridge of Hartwick; and his sister Esther Sandersfeld of Homestead. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
