He is survived by: his former wife Anna Marie Kruse; his wife Marie Schultz of Victor; his children, Steve Schultz (Billie) of Elmwood, Mike Schultz (Debbie) of Marion, Paul (Laurel), Sue Jacoby (Les) of Belle Plaine and Dave Schultz (Toni) of Ft. Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Kenneth Schultz (Kendra), Seth Schultz (Kelsey), Amelia Busby (Tyler), Jason Schultz (Sara), Jenny Ewers (Eric), Rachel Wilhite (Zach), Sarah Schultz, Anna Jacobi, Mitchell Jacobi, Justin Jacobi and Brooke McLeod; and his sisters, Lillian Lonergan of Cedar Falls and Shirley Gullickson (Ron) of Alta, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
