We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2024, at the age of 94, Eugene DeCoster (Victor, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. DeCoster and Ruth Henrietta DeCoster (DeSchepper); his wife Doris Ann Dean; his son James Louis DeCoster; and his siblings, Paul DeCoster and Joan Stevens.
He is survived by: his siblings, Robert DeCoster of Plattsmouth, NE and Rita Ashmead of Chicago, IL; his sister-in-law Joan DeCoster of Grass Valley; his grandchildren, Meg Frideres (Mark) of Nevada, Camiel DeCoster (Carrie) of Brush Creek, TN and Jessica DeCoster of Daytona Beach, FL; and his great grandchildren, Elliot, Nicholas, Lillian Frideres, Amelia, Eliza DeCoster, Elisa DeCoster, Landen, Malik and J'Den Bostic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eugene DeCoster Memorial Fund, and mailed in care of the Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, PO Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.
