It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derik Ryan Parker (Victor, Iowa), born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Rhonda Elaine Huizenga Parker; his grandparents, Rolland and Janet Huizenga; and his uncle Roger Huizenga. He is survived by: his father Todd Wayne Parker; his son Derik; his sister Deanna (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Kaitlyn Hansen of Coralville, Brianna Newton of Coralville, Brian Newton Jr. of Biloxi, Mississippi and Damarius Newton of Biloxi, Mississippi; his stepchildren, Zachary Clement of Mitchell and Army Specialist MaKenzie O'Brien of Belle Plaine; his grandparents, Jerry and Marlee Parker of Hartwick; his stepgrandparents, Bob and Phyllis DeDecker of Victor; his stepsiblings, J. J. Frahm (Kim) of Victor, Bryce Hasley (Ariel) of Cedar Rapids and Britni Jack (Beau) of Victor; and also Derik Wayne Parker. He is also survived by his many friends and extended family at Rohrer Brothers.
