He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ihla Jean Barz, Don Nielsen and Doris Drury; and his uncle Daniel Barz. He is survived by: his parents, Mark Barz and Dalena Barz (Nielsen) of Ventura; his sisters, Erika Kirby of Omaha, NE, Norra Dakin (Ryan Prindle) of Omaha, NE and Melissa Pfohl (Robb) of Oklahoma City, OK; his nieces and nephews, Meredith, Sam Kirby, Kori Prindle, Casper, Evan Muessigmann and El Prindle; and his aunts and uncles, Christine Holt, Dixie Rottinghaus, Kenneth Nielsen (Sandy) and Mike Barz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 308 S Pennsylvania Ave, Mason City, IA 50401.
Memorials may be directed to Music Man Square or the Humane Society.
