He is survived by: his wife Susan Larson; his children, Wayne Johnson (Andrea) of Sergeant Bluff, IA, Bruce Johnson (Shelley) of Klemme and Kari Markla (Jeff) of Ventura; his grandchildren, Grant, Ashley, Dakota, Alexandra, Victoria, Chase, Katherine and Bella; his stepgranddaughter Tiffani (Clay); his sisters, Diane Miller of Forest City and Gloria McEldoon of Columbus, GA; and his sister-in-law Juanita Opheim of San Marcos, TX.
