She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Gordon Harold Arink and Wava Belle Arink (Reynolds); her son Kendall Thedens; her granddaughter Kami Belle Haskins; and her siblings, Kenneth Arink, Ann Kettler and Dorothy Myers.

She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Thedens of Ventura, IA; her children, Kevin Thedens (Janice) of Denver, IA, Kirk Thedens (Jo) of Denver, IA and Kimberlee Haskins (Bill) of St. Ansgar, IA; her daughter-in-law Laurie Thedens of Independence, IA; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Grondahl (Kevin), Kathleen Holden (Ryan), Andrew Thedens, Emily Thedens and Ernie Wevik; and her great grandchildren, Emma Tippett (Gabriel), Gabriel Holden and Eliana Grondahl.

Memorials will be directed to the First Presbyterian Church, Rowley, IA.
