She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Katter and Freda Katter (Kyhl); her former husband Emil J. Broers, Jr.; her brothers, Arthur Katter, Jr. and William Katter (Alice Ann); and her brother-in-law Billy Broers.

She is survived by: her husband Winnebagos; her children, Twyla Doyle (Bryant) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Troy Broers (Dana) of Sioux Center, IA and Tom Broers (Dawn) of Bourbonnais, IL; her grandchildren, Jenna Riviera (E. J.), Jonathan Doyle (Sarah), Cara Newell (Josh), Matthew Doyle (Courtney), Emily Lyzenga (Mark), Benjamin Broers (Alexis), Katie DeSautel (Luke), Austin Broers (Michaela), Elizabeth Morrissette (Parker), Benjamin Randak and Alexander Randak; and her sisters-in-law, Gloria Warren and Marilyn Broers. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
