He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Sherman and Hettie Ermal Palmer (Euritt); his wife Rosalie; his son Dennis; his siblings, Atha Thompson, Ermal Byam and Ruth Reynolds; his parents-in-law, Georgia Cox and Ruby Cox; and his sisters-in-law, Dean Thompson, Vern Byam, Russell Cox, Barb Cox, Randal Cox, Donnie Cox and Merna Cox.
He is survived by: his son Danny Palmer; his daughter-in-law Martha Palmer of Van Wert; his grandchildren, Lacey Whitaker, Chris Van Winkle, Shawn Palmer, Cindy Palmer, Jason Palmer, Jo Palmer, Justin Palmer, Lauren Palmer, Stacey Davis and Justin Davis; his great grandchildren, Shayn, Madisyn, Jesse, Jarrett, Haylee, Julia, Cayden, Kennedy and Mikayla; and his sisters-in-law, Bob Reynolds, Corwin Cox, Bonnie Cox, Kay Fierce, Dennis Fierce and Darlene Cox. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
