He is survived by: his wife Denise Louise Freeman; his sons, Ryan Bircher (Lisa) and Adam Bircher (Kristen) of Urbandale; his grandsons, Harrison, Miles Bircher, Elliott and Everett Bircher; his brothers, Steven Bircher (Debbie) of Wisconsin, Dan Bircher of Wyoming and Scott Bircher (Marcy) of Missouri; and his family Stacey Beauchamp (Matt) of Ava Maria, Florida..
