It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Loren Boughton of Van Meter, Iowa, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Loren "Hank" Boughton. He is survived by: his mother Garnetta Mae Strable Boughton; his children, Brenda Jean Mataya, Gwendolen Berlin (John) and Brent Loren Boughton (Stephanie); his former wife Jean Boughton; his grandchildren, Megan Mataya, Tiffani Raby, Alex Mitchell, Mackenzie Mataya and Chase Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Brecken Oberembt and Ava Feeney; his brother Ronald Guy Boughton (Debbie); and his nephew Addison Boughton (Melanie).
A limited number of guests will be allowed in the building at one time and all guests in attendance will be required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Booneville United Methodist Church or the Iowa Diabetes Research Center in memory of Jack.
