It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Johansen (Van Horne, Iowa), who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Johansen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johansen and Ellen Johansen (Olson); and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his former wife Ellen Ehrens; his wife Bev; his children, Sheri Schulte (John), Diana Christen (Robert), Elizabeth Johannes (Scott), Sue Jarvi (Mark), Steve Banse (Rose) and Perry Banse (Cindi); and his sisters, Jean Duncan and Karen Fischer. He is also survived by 61 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Van Horne.
