She was predeceased by: her parents, George Duncalf and Mary Eva Duncalf; her husband Ralph Petersen; her parents-in-law, Hans and Lena Petersen; her siblings, Delbert, Joseph, Gerald, Bernice (Kaestner) and Jean (Lynch); her grandson Christopher Petersen; and her close friend Ilene Strellner.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Petersen (Judy) of Chelsea and Sherry Gahring (Dave) of Keystone; her grandsons, Eric Petersen (Andrea) and John Gahring (Misty); her children, Michael Gahring (Nikki), Dan Gahring (Mary) and Jennifer Jass (Harm); her sisters-in-law, Bernice Petersen and Leona Danker; and her stepgrandchildren, Tracy Wauters, Ron Stewart and Rob Stewart. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
