She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold and Dorothy (Jerrel); her husband Kieth Simmons; her son Scott Wesley Unkrich; and her brother Ron.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim Unkrich of Van Horne; and her grandchildren, Steele Unkrich of Van Horne and Sissi Ann Unkrich of Washington, IA. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
