It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Nelson Barr of Van Horne, Iowa, born in Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Warren Barr and Bernadine Barr (Nelson); his wife Barbara Jean Paulsen; his children, Brent, Bryan (Kelly), Bridget, Plumbing and Heating; his grandchildren, Noah Joseph and Nash Nelson; and his cousin Kathy (Doug Tumilty). He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
