It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra L. Lappe of Vail, Iowa, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Schuette and Jeanette Schuette (Preyt). She is survived by: her children, Nicole Schafer (Shawn) of Omaha and Brian Forke (Lindsey Bryan) of Omaha; her grandchildren, Lucas Leinen, Tyler Schafer, Ayden Schafer and Brady Forke; her close friend Rod Niehaus of Vail; and her brothers, Doug Schuette (Lisa) of Arcadia and Ross Schuette (Michelle) of Arcadia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
