Donna Klabunde Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donna Klabunde (Vail, Iowa), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donna left this world on April 20, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arsdol and Frances Van Arsdol (Canfield); and her siblings, Pat Miller, Bill Van Arsdol and Rita Newman.

She is survived by: her husband George Klabunde of Vail; her children, Nancy Merwald (Pat) of Omaha, Todd Klabunde of Wahoo, Lisa Kieckhafer of LaVista, Tina Groesbeck (Kurt) of Monroe, Curt Rosener (Sherri) of Ankeny and Jill Buhrow (Josh) of Waverly; and her sister Gerri Mason of Altoona. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (102 Morris St, Vail, IA 51465). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
