He is survived by: his parents, William Olmesdahl and Eileen Olmesdahl (Bollin); his wife Jennifer Olmesdahl of Urbandale; his daughter Sarah Olmesdahl of Urbandale; his stepsons, Alexander Bogart (Shelby) of Waukee and Brandon Helm (Jasmine Banwell) of Waukee; his grandson Cole Bogart; his sisters, Dawn Olmesdahl-Baxter of Ocean Gate and Heather Ross (Michael) of Oneonta; his nieces and nephews, Dakota Gleason, Kyle Gleason, Kaity Baxter, Kelsey Baxter, Jessica Buel (Kyle) and Matthew Ross; his great-nephew Noah Buel; and his aunt Barbara Hopper of Thomas Ridge, NY.
