He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tindell, and Ruth Tindell, Sr. (Jungwirth); and his sisters, Alta Mae Tindell, Betty VanZile and Ruth Prutch.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Bill (Julie) of Clive, IA, Kent (Lisa) of Urbandale, IA, Randy of San Diego, CA and Renee Benson (Scott) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Casie Norum (Cole) and Nathan Tindell; his children, Devin Benson (Kenzee), Sydney Benson and Lexi Tindell; his great grandchildren, Teddy, Auggie Benson and Ellis Norum; and his sister Judy Gourley of Rockford, IL..
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory (2659 John F Kennedy Rd, Dubuque, IA 52002). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to go to the Westview High School ACP program.
