He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Giles and Raola Giles (Feeback); and his former wife Marilyn Giles (Combs). He is survived by: his sons, John Shannon (Cindy) of Jacksonville, Gerald William Lamb of Toledo, Ohio and Anthony Dean Lamb of Littleton, Colorado; his wife Sharon Gayle Giles (Stephenson) of Littleton, Colorado; his daughter Dena Kothe (Jim) of Northglenn Colorado; his aunt Judi O'Grady (Kasas) of Park City; his siblings, Mike Giles (Terry) of Grantsburg, Bob Giles (Luanne) of Aurora, Colorado and Anne Coffman of Story City, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Aidan Lamb of Toledo Ohio, Ryan Kothe (Alexandra) of Northglenn, Jacob Kothe of Northglenn Colorado, Ashley Palaroan of Kailua, Brittny Giles (Jake) of Jacksonville, John Giles Jr. and Micah Giles of Jacksonville. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial fund has been established to the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
