With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Otto Kahre Sr. of Urbandale, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 17, 2024 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Kahre and Elizabeth Kahre. He is survived by: his daughters, Kelley Kaiser and Cori White (Tom); his grandchildren, Tom Kahre (Leslie), Jaymes Kaiser (Anna), Haylee Bell (Josh), Frankie Kaiser, Connor White, Makenna Shaver (Ben), Natalie Kahre, Kahrlee White and Logan Kahre; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Easton, Raegan, Kinslee Bell and Oaklee Shaver; his wife Bonnie Kahre; his sisters, Jean Gieraltowski (Jerry) and Jo Economaki; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Andrews, Pat Matheny and Scott Mohr (Lori). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
