It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Jackson III (Urbandale, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 27, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Kimble Jackson Sr. and Fern Maxine Vincent; his son Russell Kimble Jackson IV; and his siblings, Leon, Donald Vincent, Lillian Darling, Fran Harrington, Melvin, Lorene Sparks, Doris Jackson, Gwen Hardeman and Norma Chandler.
He is survived by: his spouse Billie Jackson; his son Roderic Kendall Jackson of Des Moines, IA; his sisters-in-law, Roverta Butts and Beverly Johnson; his grandchildren, Russell Kimble V, Russhonda, Russhawn, Cameron Jackson, Breonna Oakley and Dante Johnson; his siblings, Janice Freeman (Patrick) of Jacksonville, FL, Philip Jackson and William Vincent; his mother-in-law Erma Boston; and his siblings-in-law, Rosalie Davis and Doran Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
