He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cummings and Anna Cummings; his grandson Michael Cummings; and his brothers, Marvin Cummings and Vernon Cummings.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Steve Cummings (Laura), Chris Cummings (Emily), Russell Cummings and Shannon Van Otterloo (Neil); and his sister Linda Strauser. He is also survived by grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
