We bid farewell to Nancy Kay Wylie of Urbandale, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 2, 2025 at the age of 83. Nancy Kay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Bartusek and Evelyn Bartusek (Schwartz); her husband George R. Wylie; and her parents-in-law, George H. and Virginia Wylie.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Spangler (Jeff) of Urbandale, Iowa and Eric Wylie (Krista) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandchildren, Nicholas Spangler, Christopher Spangler, Nathan Wylie and Jordan Wylie; her siblings, Dean Bartusek (Becky) of Hanlontown, Iowa and Shirley Diercks (Brian) of Osceola, Iowa; and her brothers-in-law, Doug Wylie (Sylvia) of Parkville, MO and Bill Wylie of St. Louis Park, MN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Collegiate United Methodist Church (2622 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA 50014).
