She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Linda Biermann Hoobin (Jeff) of Johnston, Michael Biermann of Cumming and Ann Mattiussi (Mike) of Waukee; her grandsons, Jeffrey Hoobin of Des Moines, Nicholas Hoobin of Johnston and Nathan Mattiussi of Waukee; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Howell of Des Moines. She is also survived by her seven nieces and nephews, their families and her cousins.

Urbandale - Mildred Lea Biermann, 87, of Urbandale died on July 30, 2018 at Trinity Center at Luther Park from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
