He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Fred and Lydia Opal Knuth (Barth); and his brothers, Gerald, Wilbur, Lawrence, Richard, Robert and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Ellie; his children, Diane Maloney (Rick), Sharon Muelken (Kevin), Connie Knuth and Terry Knuth (Beth); his grandchildren, Taylor (Nick), Michael (Brooke), Justin, Hannah, Bailey, Jamie (Kyle), Jennifer (Seth), Chandra, Connor, Tyler (Tessa), Jordan, Austin and Mitchel (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Greysen, Rayshelle, Tallulah, Takoda Javier, Isaiah, Viviana, Jace, Hunter and Charlotte; and his sisters, Margaret Hoover (Dick) and Doris Troyer (Wayne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (8301 NW Aurora Ave., Urbandale, IA 50322). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
