She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Duroe and Mary Duroe; her husband Otis Irwin; her children, Mark (Joan), Karen Gates (Bruce), David (Sharon), Kate Foreman (Bob), Lisa Crawford (Larry) and Jeff; her sister Doran; her sisters-in-law, Sandee and Joan; her son Bill; and her siblings, Helen, Bill and Ed. She was also cherished by 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in her name to the Iowa Department of the Blind.
