Lynore Pierce Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynore Pierce of Urbandale, Iowa, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Andrew and Della Eugenie Connolly (Kirby); and her brother Tom. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Durels (Steven) of New York City, Michael Pierce (Denise) of Vernon Hills, Illinois, Meg Taylor (Mark) of Parker, Colorado, Robert Pierce of Scottsdale, Arizona, Kathryn Pierce of Des Moines and Jennifer Sotelo (Rudy) of Gilbert, Arizona; and her sisters, Pat Zelenka of Lansing and Kay Giegerich of Schererville, Indiana. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four step grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four step great-grandchildren.
Due to newly imposed coronavirus restrictions, Lynn's funeral will be a private service with just her children at St. Pius X on Friday, November 20.
Before her death she requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
