He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Parsons and Maude Parsons; his wife Sandy Parsons; and his siblings, Gene Parsons (Adalene), Dorothy Hatch (Dick), Pat Sirianni (Joe), Nile Parsons (Cleo) and Sam Parsons (Bonnie).
He is survived by: his close friend Barb Bauer; his sons, Troy Parsons (Carie), Todd Parsons and Tray Parsons (Sheri); his grandchildren, Cody Parsons (Shanae), Cory Parsons, Courtney Parsons, Colten Parsons, Lenox Parsons, Ben Parsons (Katie), Jacob Parsons (Anna) and Garrett Parsons; his great grandchildren, Amelia, Eloise, Vaeya, Vanna and Beckham; and his extended family, Troy Bauer (Tracy), Gage Bauer, Blake Nordman (Brandon), Christy Cory (Craig), James Cory and Cole Cory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knoxville Hall of Fame Museum.
