He was predeceased by: his parents, Asger Boerre and Annelise Jessing Boerre; his brother Ole Boerre; his brothers-in-law, Leif Knudsen and Erik Jorgensen; and his daughter Emma.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Boerre; his sons, Lasse Boerre (Billie) of Grimes and Dennis Boerre (Robin) of Adel; his niece Malene Steffensen (Anders) of Bojden, Denmark.; his grandchildren, Claire, Helena, Axel and Jace; his nephews, Mathias, Magnus, Marius, Farfee and Oncle Peder; and his sister Dorthe Jorgensen of Denmark. He is also survived by many friends, family, neighbors, nieces, and nephews.
